REVOLUTION: CONTACT USCIS, FOR ASYLUM PROTECTION, US GOVT TELLS KAYODE BELLO

The United States government has asked Kayode Bello, one of the RevolutionNow activists, to contact the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS) on asylum and humanitarian protection for the Revolution Now protesters, and journalists via email.

The activist Bello wrote via email the United States of America and the United Nations to protect the RevolutionNow journalists, protesters and activists alike, including himself.

According to Bello, as contained in the correspondence to the international bodies, the United States and United Nations,and others should provide asylum and humanitarian protection in line with international human rights practices for the RevolutionNow journalists and protesters over bad governance in Nigeria.

This is a result of detention of one Omoyele Sowore by the State Security Service (SSS), teargassing, arrest and detention of the RevolutionNow protesters and journalists in Nigeria.
