This report captures contrary statement by Mr. Samuel Osamolu, a Lecturer at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja, who said there were inadequate facilities at the Nigerian Law School but failed to state that Mr. Kayode Bello’s agitations over poor facilities at the Nigerian Law School were right and that he ought not to have been expelled or no panel ought to have been set up to discipline Mr. Bello because the latter’s agitations or complaints were hinged on poor facilities at the Nigerian Law School.
The second aspect of this report shows that Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose, a former Dean of the Faculty of Law, University of Ibadan, has been responsible for every negative and secret report against Mr. Bello to the Nigerian Law School due to fallouts with Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose when the latter was the Dean.
All efforts by Prof. Bamgbose to ensure the expulsion of Mr. Bello at the University of Ibadan proved abortive but she was quick to send negative reports to the Nigerian Law School in 2017 when it was reported Mr. Bello was agitating for welfare and good facilities at the Nigerian Law School.
Mr. Bello is yet to be reinstated at the Nigerian Law School despite a valid Court order permitting him to write his Bar Final exam. The Order was disobeyed by the Nigerian Law School. And Mr. Yakubu Maikyau, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), has consistently lied that Mr. Bello was not present at the Nigerian Law School to write his Bar final examinations.
AUDIO EVIDENCE MR. BELLO WAS AT THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL GATE ON AUGUST 15TH, 2017, TO WRITE HIS BAR FINAL EXAMS BUT WAS PREVENTED
AUDIO IN PARTS:
EVIDENCE PROF. OLUYEMISI BAMGBOSE WANTED TO EXPEL MR. BELLO WHILE AT THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN.
EVIDENCE THAT PROFESSOR OLUYEMISI BAMGBOSE WAS REFERRED TO BY THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL AS THE PERSON THAT MADE NEGATIVE REPORTS AGAINST KAYODE BELLO AT THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL WHICH LED TO MY EXPULSION AT THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL:
MEANWHILE IN A CONFIDENTIAL REPORT, PROF. OLUYEMISI BAMGBOSE, STATED MR. BELO WAS A HONEST AND RESPONSIBLE PERSON. IT BECOMES BAFFLING AND CONTRADICTORY TO STATEMENT THAT HE DID NOT OBEY DISCIPLINARY DECISION AS CLAIMED BY THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL, AS SHOWN BELOW. IT BECAME CONTRADICTORY THAT MR. BELLO WAS ADJUDGED A TROUBLESOME PERSON BY THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL.
MR. SAMUEL OSAMOLU, NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL’S LIES AND SUBSEQUENT FINANCIAL SCANDAL
Below was what, Mr. Samuel Osamolu, whose picture appears in this, said that the Nigerian Law School, Abuja or in other campuses of Law School, could not be separated from Nigeria as a whole with infrastructural challenges.
Kayode Bello was expelled by the Nigerian Law School three years ago on July 17th, 2017, after the former complained about poor facilities at the Nigerian Law School.
Important was the fact that the reported and exaggerated altercation between Mr. Bello and his colleague, Miss Chidinma Akam was a result of inadequate and spoilt chairs provided by the Nigerian Law School when Mr. Olanrewaju Onadeko was the Director General of the School.
Subsequently, THE PUNCH newspaper, in 2020, reported that the Nigerian Law School could not account for about N32M (thirty million Naira) linking that to secret payment to an unnamed Cleaner at the Nigerian Law School.
Another millions of Naira said to have been allocated as wardrobe allowance was said to not be accounted by the Nigerian Law School though the Nigerian Law School has since debunked the claim.
These revelations were made during the Senate session where Mr. Ciroma Ayyattou, the incumbent Director General of the Nigerian Law School, was asked to ensure the amount was retrieved from Mr. Tahir Mamman, the past Director General of the Nigerian Law School.
WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO LISTEN TO HAPPENED ON JULY 17TH, 2017, THE DAY MR. KAYODE BELLO WAS EXPELLED FROM THE NIGERAIN LAW SCHOOL:
‘’… (Law School microphone being tapped because it was not working):
VOICE OF MR. SAMUEL OSAMOLU
‘’People in the control room kindly see me now. It is too early in the day to, this is a new week and they are just coming back. Whatever the problem is, let us get it sorted out today. Control room, see me in the office now. Anyway, in respect of the light, as I leave now I will call the head of works, I will see what can be done , but please JUST UNDERSTAND THAT WHATEVER CHALLENGE THAT WE HAVE IN TERMS OF INFRASTRUCTURE IT IS JUST A MICROCOSM OF THE NATIONAL CHALLENGE. SO, SINCE THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL IS IN NIGERIA, IF THERE ARE PROBLEMS IN NIGERIA , NO MATTER HARD WE MAY FIGHT IT WE MAY SEE SOME LEFT OVERS HERE AND THERE, but we try as much as as possible to ensure that we are able to meet you halfway , and nobody should be agitated. Don’t let your blood pressure rise. Even those guys, I know people have been very vocal and persistent, some of us somehow all your hope is that….’’
AUDIO EVIDENCE OF MR. SAMUEL OSAMOLU’S VOICE THAT NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL’S FACILITIES WERE INADEQUATE:
NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL SAYS FACILITIES ARE ADEQUATE, CONTRARILY AFTER IT EXPELLED KAYODE BELLO:
However, the Nigerian Law school said the facilities at the Nigerian Law School were adequate after it expelled Mr. Bello due to reasons in connection with the poor facilities at the Nigerian Law School.
Since 2017, Mr. Bello has been out of the Nigerian Law School due to no fault of his but that of the Nigerian government and the Nigerian Law School.
CONTRARY STATEMENT BY THE NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL THAT ITS FACILITIES ARE ADEQUATE:
PROF. OLUYEMISI BAMGBOSE AND HER NEGATIVE REPORTS AGAINST MR. KAYODE BELLO
Notable is that before Mr. Bello gained admission into the Nigerian Law School in 2016, he had attempted gaining admission into the School in 2012 and 2013 but all with no avail.
By 2013, Mr. Bello was offered admission into the Nigerian Law School but was later removed by the Nigerian Law school when at first Mr. Bello wrote about the admission of two University of Ibadan students with incomplete result. The two students were already admitted at the Nigerian Law School.
When the denial of admission lingered, Mr. Bello approached the Pubic Complaints Commission in 2013 where it was revealed that Prof. Oluyemisi Bamgbose wrote a negative report against Mr. Bello which made the Nigerian Law School refer the latter’s case to the Council of Legal Education but Prof. Bamgbose, from available information, did not make any negative report against one Miss Seun Adegunsoye who was rusticated from the University of Ibadan on account of religious violence/disruption in the University of Ibadan.
At different occasions, the Nigerian Law School has quoted Prof. Bamgbose as having made negative reports against Mr. Bello to prevent the latter from being admitted at the Nigerian Law School or ensuring the expulsion of Mr. Kayode Bello from the Nigerian Law School.
FURTHER EVIDENCE THAT PROF. OLUYEMISI BAMGBOSE MADE A NEGATIVE REPORT AGAINST MR. KAYODE BELLO:
PROF. BAMGBOSE OLUYEMISI (OF THE GLORY TABERNACLE CHURCH, OJURIN, IBADAN):
MR. SAMUEL OSAMOLU (OF THE REDEEMED CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF GOD, BWARI, ABUJA), DIRECTOR, ACADEMIC AFFAIRS, NIGERIAN LAW SCHOOL. HE IS ALSO AN ALUMNUS OF THE UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN
